Limited edition giclée print ![]() ![]() The Queen’s College was founded in 1340 by Robert de Eglesfield and is named after Queen Philippa, the wife of Edward III. It was extensively rebuilt in the 18th century. Because of a lack of funds the screen wall and gateway to the High Street were not built until over twenty years after the rest of the front quadrangle to the design of Nicholas Hawksmoor.
